Erin Sindberg Porter joined Greene Espel in 2008 after clerking for the Honorable Kevin G. Ross of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Erin’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense. Erin guides individuals and corporations through internal investigations, corporate compliance, and regulatory issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Erin graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College. She is an active alumna of both institutions and is currently a Class Agent for the Class of 2000 at Macalester College.



REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

•   Represented real estate executive in mortgage fraud investigation. 

•   Represented financial services executive in securities fraud suit. 

•   Represented financial services brokers in Minnesota Department of Commerce fraud investigation. 

•   Brought successful action on behalf of national restaurant chain in connection with equipment lease.

•   Obtained summary judgment on behalf of city against construction company seeking indemnification. The Minnesota Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment.

•   Successfully defended city in challenge to city's grant of liquor license. The Minnesota Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment.

•   Represented architecture firm in wrongful death dispute alleging negligence and breach of contract.
